Instructional program that focuses on skills development and fun. One or two scrimmages are held at this level with other 1st/2nd grade programs.
3rd/4th:
Instructional program that focuses on skills development, and introduces game strategy. Game format is 7 v 7 on a modified field. No goalies are used.
5th/6th:
Instructional program that reinforces skills development while teaching game positioning and strategy. Modified checking is introduced. Game format is full field 11 v 11 with goalies.
7th/8th:
Instructional program that integrates all aspects of the women’s lacrosse game, including skills, game positioning, play development and strategy, with modified checking. Game format is full field 11 v 11 with goalies. This program is designed to prepare middle school athletes for high school competition.
Divisions As a learning league, the girls program strives to field teams of even strength through 4th grade. Teams are formed in mid March for 3rd – 4th grade. The 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade divisions hold tryouts in early March to field A and B teams, depending on experience and commitment level.
Rules The Lower Bucks Lacrosse girls program is a member of US Lacrosse and PAGLA. We follow PAGLA rules at all age levels. Parents and players are encouraged to visit www.pagla.org to become familiar with the rules, and for more information.

Additional Play During The Season Additional play days and tournaments can be scheduled throughout the season for those players in 3rd - 8th grade. The PAGLA Festival is always the first weekend in June and officially ends our season. These tournaments are voluntary and require additional fees that will be collected separately.
